Françoise LACOMBE chose to work in continuing education for adults in 2002 in English and communication after having studied and lived abroad, in Canada and South Africa.
In this capacity, she offered training in business English and conversational English to adult audiences, including CEOs, and sports and medical elites, by designing customized programs with her own training tools.
Additionally, she quickly specialized in a high-level audience of researchers and doctors, who, through their own scientific approaches, led her to constantly question herself and continue training over the years.
Since 2002, she has offered Public Speaking training in English at the Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Marseille to train physician conference participants, a training which she has refined and enriched through experience, invitations to conferences, and her own training to offer a complete program complemented by her online tools. Thus, after all these years of training, in addition to her activities in writing, educational engineering, translation and proofreading, she specialized in training congress participants for congress preparation by offering targeted and operational programs to prepare for this specific congress context – articles, posters, oral presentations. Her online tools are supports and complements to in-person training – videos and booklets so that learners can revisit all the concepts already covered in class at their own pace, and so that the courses are oriented as much as possible towards practice, and the workshops that involve participants based on their own presentation.
